Members of Team 2bm, including managing director Mark King and HSEQ manager Carl McDonald, attended the latest ‘meet for good’ business breakfast event – where business meets sports and charity.
Held on Friday 22nd April at the JLR dealership in Derby, Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh shared powerful lessons from the Team GB women’s hockey journey to Olympic gold in Rio 2016.

Drawing on their vast experiences both in and out of sport, double Olympic medallists Kate and Helen spoke about the incredible behind-the-scenes journey of how a team from the lower rankings rose to become bronze medallists at the London Olympics and ultimately reached the very pinnacle of their sport in 2016.

They talked passionately about how successful teams are made up of people who are valued as human beings and supported to flourish individually.
They also spoke briefly about their book, entitled ‘Winning Together’, which covers connection, inclusion, alignment, empowerment and the power of difference, highlighting the tools you need to be the very best version of yourself and to build better teams.
