On Saturday 21st September, Team 2bm bravely abseiled 100ft down the side of the Queen’s Medical Centre.

A quick selfie before the abseil!

The event, in aid of the NUH Nottingham Children’s Hospital, has so far raised £578 for the NUH Charity.

Marianne King, Luke Radford and Denise Leatt were undertaking their first abseil, so they were slightly nervous.

Having completed the descent, Luke Radford, 2bm Administrative Manager, commented: “As part of 2bm’s green initiative, we wanted to lend our support to a local charity that benefits the health and wellbeing of our local communities.”

Denise Leatt, 2bm marketing, added: “Climbing over the edge was the scariest part of the abseil, with the descent being the best part. It left us wanting more!”

The trio is now planning their next challenge in aid of a local charity.
