Steven White is today retiring after 10 years as finance director of 2bm Limited, a business he describes as “driven by a family-orientated highly professional culture”.

“Whilst I will certainly miss the day-to-day buzz of being at 2bm, having had some health challenges over the last year, which included several months of chemotherapy, this feels like the right time for me to retire,” commented Steven.

“Mark King and his team were hugely supportive during my treatment which, I’m delighted to say has been successful.”

“I’m now looking forward to retirement and playing more golf, as well as redesigning and landscaping my garden.”

“There are so many places I want to visit too, both in the UK and overseas, including travelling back to Australia.”

“My wife Debbie is Australian, so we intend to catch up with relatives and friends around the Sydney and Melbourne areas when we visit down under.”

“As well as golf, I really enjoy playing my classical guitar. It was a gift from my father when I was 21, so has stood the test of time – all 45 years of it,” added Steven.
