Meet for Good – a unique collective bringing together business, high performance, sport and charity – marked its fifth anniversary in style.
As founding partners, 2bm was honoured to receive a commemorative print featuring artwork by Pete Gray, capturing powerful insights from five of Meet for Good’s guest speakers.

Mark King, Managing Director of 2bm, reflected on the occasion: “Meet for Good hosts Business Breakfast events featuring guests from the worlds of sport and high performance, who share compelling experiences and insights with real business relevance.”
“At 2bm, we are deeply committed to the health and wellbeing of our staff, their families and the wider community – including tackling important but often difficult conversations around mental health,” added Mark.
The anniversary event featured a truly moving talk from Brian McDermott – former professional footballer and manager – who bravely shared his personal journey through addiction, ill health, and high performance in both sport and business.

Brian, best known for leading Reading to the Premier League, managing Leeds United, and working as an international scout for Arsenal, spoke with remarkable vulnerability and honesty. In an inspiring moment, he revealed that this week marks 10 years of sobriety for him.
A huge thank you to Meet for Good for another incredible event and to Brian for his powerful message on resilience, mental health, and personal growth.
Here’s to the next five years!
