2bm was proud to celebrate another successful evening at the iconic Oxo Tower in London, where we were honoured with the prestigious ‘Edge Project of the Year’ DCR Excellence Awards – for the second year in a row!

This year’s winning project was delivered for nLighten at one of its strategically located data centres.

The scope was ambitious: delivering protected, fully diverse 4 x 1mW power streams, providing 3mW of power and cooling at N+1 redundancy, all aligned with Uptime Tier III standards.

Our expert team rose to the challenge, deploying 72 high-density racks – each supporting up to 42kW – within a tight 10-week window from project launch to handover.

Mark King, Managing Director at 2bm, reflected: “This is true recognition for a project that was a bold undertaking that required meticulous planning, precise execution and seamless coordination.”

Joining Mark on stage to receive the award were Brad Chuck and Dom Thomas from nLighten, alongside 2bm’s Neil Roberts and Rob Sewell, who added: “Receiving recognition, especially from experts within your industry, highlights 2bm’s continued commitment to excellence in designing and building data centres fit for the future.”
