2bm have renewed their sponsorship of the junior section at Beeston Fields Golf Club, near Nottingham.
The golf club, which has Golf Mark accreditation – a national scheme operated by the EGU/EWGA and Sport England – supports and encourages young people to optimise their talents and personal ability.

As an active member of their local community, 2bm feel it’s extremely important to support grass root sports in order to help young people develop. Whilst this naturally improves their sporting talents, it also helps them to keep fit and healthy as well as the opportunity to meet new friends.
2bm has a track record of supporting grassroots sport, having supported similar schemes for young people at Ilkeston Town Football Club, Long Whatton Cricket Club, Kimberley Institute Cricket Club and the 2bm Pumas.

Ben Adams, Beeston Fields Junior section organiser, commented: “The 2bm sponsorship enables the club to help budding young golfers to develop their golf game and experience a competitive environment. This also helps them improve their self-discipline and social interaction too”.

“Open to all abilities, Beeston Fields also has a focus on maximising participation in the game of golf. The sponsorship means Beeston Fields Juniors can support activities throughout the year, including a Junior Open, which brings together junior golfers from other clubs to play at Beeston,” said Ben.
The sponsorship includes support for coaching, away days, and internal competitions and also helps the junior golf team to compete against other teams across Nottinghamshire.

2bm Managing Director, Mark King added: “As a Dad as well as a keen golfer myself, helping the youth of Nottingham into sport is something I am particularly passionate about. 2bm loves to get involved wherever possible, especially when it comes to encouraging young people to play and love sport.”
