Our environmental policy

2bm is fully committed to the prevention of pollution, protecting and minimising the effects of our operations on the environment.

2bm intend to enhance environmental management and achieve continual improvement by:

1. Assessing the environmental impact of our work prior to commencement.
2. Monitor our use of electricity, gas, water, waste, business commuting and travel and paper usage and report on our carbon footprint on an annual basis.
3. Implementing environmental planning, control and monitoring of all activities which recognises and respects the physical, economic and social environments of all the communities in which we operate.
4. Establishing annual environmental objectives that will be measured and reported on during management review meetings.
5. Using resources such as energy, water and raw materials efficiently and where possible minimise waste through re-use and re-cycling.
6. Reducing the disturbance and inconvenience from operational activities and minimising CO2 emissions as far as practicable.
7. Where possible utilising sustainable products sourced through our supply chain.
8. Working closely with our supply chain, sub-contractors and third-party consultants to develop good environmental practices and solutions.
9. Liaising and co-operating with the appropriate authorities on environmental issues and complying with all relevant legislation.
10. Meeting all the requirements to develop and maintain our ISO 14001:2015 certification.
11. Providing suitable and sufficient training to employees to allow them to carry out their allocated duties in line with this policy.
12. Bringing the contents of this policy and associated arrangements to the attention of all employees and interested parties
