George Spencer Academy benefits from 2bm support

2bm is proud of its Nottingham links and works hard to support the local community in a number of ways.

The latest such initiative saw two members of the management team take up the role of Dragons for a project set up by local Academy George Spencer.

Managing Director Mark King and Contracts Manager Jerry Skinner spent an enjoyable afternoon as students from the Academy pitched their ideas to the panel made up from local businesses.

“It was fun,” explained Mark, “but at the same time a very worthwhile exercise for the students and we are happy to lend our support to George Spencer who deserve great credit for their academic record which comes from a commitment to explore innovative ways of teaching and support for their pupils.”

“Since setting up the business back in 2002 we have received great support from the wider community and feel it is only right to put something back,” added Mark. “We see many parallels between the team at George Spencer and ours at 2bm and we look forward to working more closely with them in the future.”

2bm were also delighted to sponsors three ‘Outstanding Achiever Awards’ at the Academy’s recent annual prize giving.
