2bm awarded University Frameworks approved supplier status

2bm is pleased to announce that they have been awarded approved supplier status by the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) for a range of data centre managements solutions.

The NEUPC is one of several UK Higher Education Purchasing consortia. Utilising a partnering approach the NEUPC operates as a centralised structure of over twenty members. Their vision – ‘To be the best collaborative partner that fully supports the procurement activity of our members’ – advocates working together to provide collaborative procurement support, guidance, systems and processes and agreements that are aligned to, and actively support our members needs, values and objectives.

Speaking on the news, 2bm Contracts Manager Jerry Skinner said,

“We’re delighted to have been chosen by the NEUPC following a very thorough evaluation process.

“We have extensive experience working within the education industry, helping both colleges and universities to radically improve the efficiencies of their data centre operations.”

“We look forward to the opportunity of working with the NEUPC members over the coming months to help reduce power consumption, improve space utilisation and ensure maximum benefit from their data centre spend.”
