2bm Director scoops British Par 3 Title

Jason Preston has come top in a major Pro-Am golf tournament.

Jason won the Pro-Am competition at the British Par 3 Championships held last week at Nailcote Hall, Warwickshire partnered by European Tour golfer Seve Benson.

The pair finished the two rounds with a combined score of 12 under par – three shots clear of the rest of the field.

Jason is a director and co-founder of 2bm in Eldon Business, Chilwell – a market leader in providing fully managed services and equipment for data centres and computer rooms. He is a keen golfer and a member at Beeston Fields Golf Club where 2bm recently became sponsors of the Junior Section.

He said: “I am over the moon with my success with Seve at the event which has really capped the year so far both on the golf course and in business.

“The British Par 3 Championships have got better each year and it was certainly nerve wracking towards the close when we knew we had a chance of winning. It was a fantastic experience and I would not have missed it for the world.”

Jason’s partner Seve Benson also came third in the Professionals’ competition behind eventual winner Andrew Sherbourne who took home the £15,000 first prize.
