2BM is committed to ensuring that Carbon Management is embedded as a core principle in its delivery of services to our customers, and to minimising the impact of our operations on the environment. In particular we commit to:
1) Annually measure, assess and report emissions of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases.
2) Identify opportunities to reduce these emissions and set targets to do so.
3) Promote the benefits of sound energy and environmental management to our customers.
4) Encourage the management and reduction of carbon emissions within our supply chain.
5) Ensure that our staff are engaged and aware of their responsibility to reduce carbon emissions.
6) Allocate responsibility for the management of this policy at Senior Management level.
Through the adoption of this policy 2BM will educate and inform its customers, suppliers, staff and the wider public of the benefits of taking an environmentally sound approach to business through improved energy efficiency, reduced greenhouse gas emissions and lower operation cost.
